Cabinet Construction

Two Ways to Build

Evoke offers both Framed and Full-Access Frameless construction — same furniture-grade quality and finish excellence, matched to your client's design direction.

Framed Construction

An American traditional build featuring a solid wood face frame on the front of the cabinet box. Evoke Framed combines timeless quality with a curated selection of the most in-demand door styles and finishes — ideal for dealers running standardized projects.

Two Overlay Options: Standard Overlay (½″ width, ⅜″ height) for a classic traditional look. Designer Overlay (1¼″ or ¾″ top, 1 5/16″ width) for a more contemporary feel.
Construction Specifications
  • ½″ plywood box (furniture board option available)
  • 1½″ × ¾″ solid wood face frame
  • 3″ I-beams on base cabinets for maximum squareness & strength
  • Polyurethane-coated maple print interior
  • ¾″ thick × 10⅜″ adjustable wall shelves
  • ¾″ thick × 15½″ adjustable base shelf
  • 5/8″ solid dovetailed drawer boxes with undermount guides
  • Bottom dadoed into sides and face frame
  • 4½″ toe-kick

  • Consistent, reliable lead times for project scheduling
  • Move-up/move-down flexibility in your lineup
  • Furniture-grade quality at a semi-custom price point

Full-Access Frameless

European-style full-access construction — a box without a face frame — provides maximum accessibility. Doors and drawers hinge directly to the cabinet walls for a clean, contemporary look and unobstructed access to every inch of interior space.

Maximum Accessibility: Without a face frame, the full cabinet interior is accessible. Ideal for clients who prioritize modern aesthetics and functional storage efficiency.
Construction Specifications
  • ¾″ furniture board or plywood construction options
  • Maple-print or White Ice interior (for paint finishes)
  • 4″ wide runners on top and bottom of drawer opening
  • ¾″ thick shelf (10⅜″ deep wall / ⅔ depth base)
  • 5/8″ solid dovetailed drawer boxes (Hardwood or Beech option)
  • Tandem Blumotion undermount drawer guides — full extension, soft-close
  • Wood veneer edge tape matching the finish
  • Bottom dadoed into sides
  • 4″ toe-kick
